In the event that an accident is unavoidable, 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Touring provides a wide range of passive safety systems designed to deliver class-leading levels of protection. The exceptionally rigid construction of each vehicle and the incorporation of advanced technology combine to protect the driver and passengers with the added peace of mind needed when faced with the unexpected. The 2012 Legacy 2.5i Touring feature dual-stage deployment airbags, front-side and side-curtain airbags for the front seats. This represents one of the first stages of defense in a collision and an integral part of the Subaru offering. The front seats are specially designed with rigid frames, firm headrests and energy-absorbing inner seat springs to help mitigate the effects of a rear-end collision and reduce the chances of whiplash.

2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT
The interior of the 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT is filled with a wealth of creature comforts, a wide array of user-friendly technologies and a level of refinement that sets new standards in the class. All Subaru Legacy models feature AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA audio systems with auxiliary input, steering wheel audio controls and pre-wiring for SIRIUS® Satellite Radio. To keep the music going, Bluetooth® streaming audio and iPod®/USB integration is available on all models, while certain versions also receive a free 3-month trial subscription to SIRIUS. Lastly, the 2012 Legacy 2.5GT gains a Harman Kardon 10-speaker system with 7-channel amplifier. This means that the 2012 Subaru Legacy will be (almost) as much fun to drive for its entertainment features as for its performance.
